This photo was taken with a Canon 5d . This image is one of my first portrait shots I took back in the day. Reminds me of a portrait assignment coming up soon which I am very excited about.

Lights

This frame was shot with a point and shoot Canon Powershot in preparation for my album cover assignment. It was pretty simple: I strapped lights onto my sister, turned off the lights to be in complete darkness, had her dance around as crazy as possible, opened my aperture to 2.8 at 1 second and took a test shot.

Sun Rays

This morning I was fooling around with the fog machine taking some test shots with a simple point and shoot camera (Canon Powershot) for my World Portrait assignment and just when I was about to go inside I took a snap shot of this scene, beautiful if you ask me!

Sunset or Explosion?

This photo was taken with a Canon 5d in Maui, HI. This isn't the original. I played around with it in Photoshop CS3. I am still a newbie to Photoshop. This photo reminds me of 60's Pop Art.

Polaroid of Sunflower

I found the most amazing application on the iPhone. It's called the Polarized app and if your a polaroid fanatic like I am you will definately enjoy this app! When you take photo's on your iPhone it takes it like it was a polaroid. Here's a sample photo I took of a sunflower on the phone. Enjoy!

This photo was taken in Maui, HI with a Canon 5d. It was actually a test shot and it came out beautifully! I've noticed with many of my photographs they're alway test shots or shots not meant to be taken and they always come out amazingly awesome!

One of our next assignments in my Professional Photography class is to create a world portrait and manipulate it to make it look antique-ish or old. So, here is the before and after of a sample photo I played around with in photoshop. This isn't my portrait by the way. I thought it was going to be difficult, but it wasn't at all. With photoshop there are so many different ways and steps of manipulating your images to receive the result that you want . So, here is a link that helped me to get that antique-ish look that I wanted. Hope it helps you.
